Our Clients: A-B
ACT
We worked with ACT (the association for children with life-threatening or terminal conditions and their families) to launch their Voices for Change report. This leading research outlined the current perception of users of services for children with palliative care and their families. Our work included the production of a DVD of children and parents with palliative care needs and the organisation of a launch event at the House of Commons.
AMICUS
Amicus, one of the largest trade unions in the UK, commissioned us to conduct quantitative and qualitative research to gauge their members’ attitudes to the union and awareness of the forthcoming political fund ballot. The research was used to inform the development of the campaign message and narrative for Amicus to use for their campaign for a ‘Yes’ vote. This campaign was won.
Association of Children’s Hospices (ACH)
We have been working to promote ACH to MPs and peers, as part of a wider strategy to raise the organisation’s profile and encourage more people to open children’s hospices. This has involved organising and promoting a parliamentary reception, to help build on emerging relationships with stakeholders.
Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL)
We are conducting a stakeholder consultation exercise to support ATL in accessing external funding and ensure ATL's priorities have wider stakeholder support.
Aylesbury NDC
We worked with Aylesbury NDC to consult local residents about the future of their housing stock. This involved creating relevant materials, available in a variety of languages.
Bakers’, Food and Allied Workers’ Union (BFAWU)
We are project managing and delivering two UMF-funded projects for the union. The first is a response to the increasing diversity of BFAWU members’ workplaces. It includes research, training and the creation of an ongoing member development strategy. The second project focuses on improving communications and participation within the union, including looking at internal administrative systems and the union website.
Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
We have delivered bespoke training for the governors of Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, as well as working in conjunction with Barnsley Youth Council to help the trust engage more effectively with young people.
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust
We are assisting this mental health trust in recruiting 3,000 members for its public constituencies in time for the trust's first election in January 2007.
Birmingham Children's Hospital
We are supporting the trust in its NHS Foundation Trust application by running a targeted campaign to recruit 2,000 members right across the area served by the trust. This included recruiting young people aged 14 to 17 years old.
Brighton and Hove Council
The highly charged issue of Brighton and Hove’s housing stock had reached an impasse. We were commissioned to use our research, consultation and political management skills to move the council and its key stakeholders forward. Our report made detailed recommendations about how to engage residents in this complex issue through a range of participative initiatives.
