You need to be good with people, adaptable and able to think on your feet. Full training is given.

We need people for activities on every day of the week but can usually offer hours to fit in with other commitments. Pay is £8 an hour.

Description of the job

We are looking for personable individuals to work with us as we help health trusts in their applications for foundation trust status. Under these arrangements, local people are invited to register as members of the foundation trust. You will be talking to members of the public in outpatient and other public areas of the hospital, in GP surgeries, clinics and other public places about this process, with the aim of recruiting them as members.

Our aim is to encourage local people to become members - which costs them nothing - to ensure the trust can be properly accountable to local people. This job requires a high degree of commitment and accuracy, as well as good communication skills. The role would be especially suitable for anyone with marketing experience or a political or campaigning background.
