A bit of context
Different parts of London have very different issues – you will all come across different challenges when you are doing your jobs. But we know that in all parts of London, there are some residents who do not want to listen to what people in the public and voluntary sectors are saying to them. Even where the work you are doing is very good, people often seem to be angry and mistrustful.
London is changing very fast, and some residents do not like this change. Many people feel concerned about the financial situation. Where people have these worries, it can be harder to communicate with them.
This session aims to support your work in London in these difficult times.
