Who we are

The Campaign Company (TCC) was set up in August 2001 with the goal of “making democracy work” for its clients by using the skills and experience of its founders to enable them to connect more effectively with their members, clients, customers or wider communities.

Through innovative engagement projects such as the Young Mayor scheme and with the development of engagement products targeted at hard to reach groups, The Campaign Company built its reputation as communications and engagement experts.

Over the last few years we have increasingly been involved in social marketing where we draw on the principles of behaviour change, insight, segmentation, marketing mix, exchange and competition theories. Our approaches have delivered successful campaigns in areas like smoking cessation, sexual health and community cohesion.

In 2005, we demonstrated our commitment as a learning organisation and achieved Investors in People Status. We were re-accredited in 2008.

Since 2007, we have established bases in Newcastle, Sheffield and Swansea. As a consequence of its success and growing reputation, The Campaign Company now has a core staff of nearly 20 and a field team of 10.
