TCC welcome Dr Rowena Merritt
We are delighted to welcome Rowena Merritt as Director of Social Marketing and Behaviour Change.
Rowena is starting at TCC in the same week as project officers Jess Davis and Leila Woodhouse, taking our Croydon team to seventeen.Before joining TCC, Rowena worked at the National Social Marketing Centre, leading on the development of the Local Practitioner development, and was the Social Marketing and Health Related Behaviour Manager at the Department of Health.
Rowena has a first in Business Studies from Imperial College London and a D.Phil from the University of Oxford, where her thesis was about the use of social marketing techniques to improve clinical outcomes for depressed patients.
TCC Chairman Jonathan Upton said 'we are very pleased that Rowena is joining us. She will bring to TCC the focus and rigour that will ensure that the interventions that we develop with clients will achieve lasting and positive behavioural outcomes. Rowena has a fantastic track record in this key area of public policy'.
