TCC welcome Maureen Allen

We are delighted to welcome Maureen Allen, who will be working on TCC's community communicators project in Bexley. The project aims to build trust and cohesion across the community, creating strong two-way conversations between the council and residents.

Maureen has over 20 years experience working and supporting community organisations   London  and the South East. Starting out as a volunteer youth worker she completed Goldsmiths’ Youth and   Community course and has since held a variety of roles including  managing  an urban study centre,  co-ordinating a community publishing group and running a women’s only transport service.

Working at Community Links Bromley provided her with the opportunity to specialise in advising and delivering training on capacity building and quality assurance programmes, not to mention unique food sampling  of home-made cakes and biscuits.

Peter Watt, chief executive of TCC said 'I am delighted to welcome Maureen to TCC. She will compliment our team with her experience and knowledge of working with community groups, and she will be a fantastic addition to our project in Bexley'.
