TCC to show Bournemouth what's cooking

For a long time The Campaign Company has been at the forefront of delivering specialist public health sector campaigns,

and in 2010 we aim to continue to grow this work.

This year will see us supporting Dr Rowena Merritt, who will be delivering her presentation on the benefits of social marketing as a tool to promote healthcare.  Rowena’s track record is second to none within the public health sector and she has been instrumental in helping shape TCC’s social marketing strategy.

The event will be taking place at the Bournemouth International Centre on the 24th and 25th of March.  TCC will be running an exhibition stall at the conference, and in our trademark individual style, this will come in the form of a portable kitchen offering tea, coffee and fresh fruit to people attending the event.  At the back of the kitchen there will be a large screen with a show-reel displaying some of the work we’ve been involved with over the past year.

This isn’t just an opportunity for us to hook new clients, however:  In keeping with our company values we will be sharing a lot of what we’ve learned over the last year.  We’ll be exhibiting in-depth case studies to give people a detailed overview of how some of our projects are run.  We’ll be talking about our research methodology based on projects we’ve undertook, and we will be telling everyone about our pioneering Values Modes approach to segmentation.

Although disclosing our methods of best practice may seem counter-productive to a commercial business, we believe that our company values lie in sharing this information for the greater social good.  “It is absolutely consistent with our core principles that we share such information,” says TCC Chairman Jonathan Upton, “Transparency can only be a good thing when dealing with an issue that affects the wellbeing of so many people.”

A selection of experienced TCC representatives will be on hand to answer questions and impart knowledge based on projects they have worked on.  From the healthcare and social marketing division of the company come Amy Richards and Christopher Hill.  Amy and Chris are both working towards a PGCE in Social Marketing, the first qualification of its type in this subject.    “I’m looking forward to representing TCC while also taking the opportunity to explore other the ideas and practices of other people and other organisations,” says Chris, Project Officer for The Campaign Company.

They will be exhibiting a range of case studies to give people a detailed overview of how some of their projects are run.  In areas such as Foundation Trust recruitment, TCC currently holds the UK record with over 200’000 people inducted into FT’s around the UK.  One in every five Foundation Trust members has been recruited by The Campaign Company.

Company Chairman Jonathan Upon continues: “Not only will this give us a chance to highlight some of the services we offer, but it will be an opportunity to put faces to the names to some of those clients we might otherwise never have the chance of meeting in person.”

TCC are looking forward to the chance to get out among the clients that it works with as well as being able to pass the message on about some of the work we’ve been doing day-to-day.  Keep your eyes on the website to be kept abreast of what’s happening at the forum with, picture updates and a blog detailing highlights of the event.
