TCC welcome Edward Lewsey
We are delighted to welcome Edward Lewsey to TCC's London team. Edward is working as a community communications officer in the London Borough of Havering - a project which aims to build trust and cohesion across the community, creating strong two-way conversations between the council and residents.Edward is a graduate of Essex University, and has previously worked in local government and in the voluntary sector. He says 'Suffolk House from the outside on a cold April morning was not the most inspiring vista, but once inside TCC the impression I was given was of a dynamic, modern, in-touch company filled with very caring people who believe strongly in what they are doing, who will whole-heartedly help you to feel at home. Needless to say, I have enjoyed working with them so far, and am looking forward to working with them in the coming months'.
TCC chief executive Peter Watt adds 'Edward will be a great addition to the team, and we're really pleased to be working with Havering on this project. TCC pioneered community communicators in Barking and Dagenham a few years ago, and it's great to see them working in Bexley and now in Havering'.
