TCC hosted a successful launch event for the revamped whatdoyouknow.org.uk sexual health website for young people at the Alhambra shopping centre in Barnsley over the weekend. We filmed over 40 young people sharing their thoughts with us in our VideoQube and had over 120 comments left by them on our 'Writing on the Wall' promotion. Over 1,000 leaflets were handed out to young people and parents to help promote the whatdoyouknow campaign to improve sexual health awareness with young people aged 13-25 in Barnsley and over 130 of them completed our survey to enter our competition to win an I-Pod Nano. Health professionals were invited to participate in the event where they screened over 40 youngsters for Chlamydia and offered sexual health advice.
